IronGuard privacy policy
Effective July 18, 2026
IronGuard is IronRock Security's private workforce operations app. It is provided only to authorized officers and office staff for scheduling, attendance, safety, reporting, payroll preparation, and dispatch operations.
Information IronGuard handles
- Account and employment identifiers used to sign you in and connect you to your schedule.
- Shift activity, including confirmations, clock-in and clock-out times, breaks, requests, patrol scans, and acknowledgments.
- Reports, notes, forms, and photos you deliberately submit through the app.
- Device and push-notification information needed to deliver operational alerts.
- Location at a punch, checkpoint scan, or alertness check. While you are clocked in and have allowed background access, IronGuard also collects location when the app is in the background or the phone is locked so dispatch can monitor on-shift safety and site coverage.
Location controls
Background location is used only for on-shift operations. Tracking is stopped when you clock out. You may deny background access and still punch; some dispatch-map updates will then be unavailable. Force-closing the app can stop background updates until you reopen it. You can change location access at any time in your phone settings.
How information is used and shared
IronRock uses this information to operate its security workforce, protect officers and clients, verify attendance, investigate exceptions, prepare payroll and billing records, and meet contractual or legal obligations. Information is not sold and is not used for advertising. It may be processed by service providers that host or deliver IronGuard, or disclosed when required by law.
Retention and security
Operational records are retained for as long as IronRock needs them for employment, payroll, client, safety, audit, or legal purposes. Access is limited by role, and IronRock uses technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
Questions or requests
Contact the IronRock Security office or your supervisor if you have a privacy question, need help changing a permission, or want to request access or correction to your information.
